Being old and retired, my wife and I try to keep things simple. We use disposable plates for more than parties. They’re quick and easy, especially when you don’t have kid’s and can eat simple meals on what ever schedule works for us. I understand you couldn’t care less about our lifestyle but it makes the point that we may be uniquely qualified to review and rate disposable plates.
When I purchase disposable plates I look at several things.
Is it large enough? Is it strong enough?
Will it hold up to the intended uses? (Will it get soft and soggy if we have wet foods.)
Does the design fit the use? (A princess theme isn’t right for an eight year old boy’s party)
How much does it cost?
This plate checks every box with the small caveat that it is a paper plate. You can’t load it down and then pick it up with one hand.
Normally I would give these plates four stars but the quality and quantity is good enough to push them up to five.
My rating system:
5 stars..... Very good, recommended.
4 stars..... Better than average.
3 stars..... Average, nothing especially good or bad.
2 stars..... Less than average, not recommended.
1 star ..... Junk, do not buy.
